解释：马匹贸易市场； 封建王朝以金帛盐茶同边强少数民族换马的互市。始于唐。玄宗时，许突厥用马匹交换金帛。宋仍唐制，多用茶叶交换马匹，明永乐年间设辽东马市三处;正统间﹐设大同马市，中官王振裁马价，发生兵争，招致土木之变;嘉靖年间，又开大同﹑陕边﹑宣镇等处马市。清雍正年间停止； 借指外寇。
