出处文本：“竟陵王子良尝夜集学士，刻烛为诗，四韵者即刻一寸，以此为率。（萧）文琰曰：‘顿燃一寸烛，而成四韵诗，何难之有！’乃与令楷、江洪等共打铜钵之韵，响灭则诗成，皆可观览。”

出处书籍：《南史•王僧儒传》

用法：刻烛赋诗，指限时成诗，形容诗才敏捷。《南史•王泰传》：“每预朝宴，刻烛赋诗，文不加点，帝深赏叹。”
